Kevin Lawson founded Lawson & Company CPAs in 2007 after merging with the Ronald Perkin’s CPA firm which has been in existence since 1988. As a CPA and small business owner, Kevin loves to work with small businesses to help them succeed. He specializes in providing a clear financial picture of clients’ businesses, proactive tax planning, and strategic business solutions to entrepreneurs and businesses.

Kevin graduated from Chico State University in California with a Bachelors of Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. Later he received his MBA from Utah State University. Kevin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Texas Society of CPAs, Dallas Society of CPAs, Plano/Richardson CPA Professional Group and is active with both the Rowlett and Richardson Chambers of Commerce.
Out of the office, Kevin and his wife Michelle are actively involved in their son’s Boy Scout Troop and cheering on their daughter at her various Rockwall School activities. Kevin and Michelle love to spend time sailing, traveling, camping, hunting, and quality family time together.
